IDS Enhancement Requests
The two graphs are using a standardized color pallet. I believe the colors are being applied in a standard order. Blue, turquoise, purple, black and yellow.
Notice how as a user if you look at the first widget your mental model is Blue=Draft and the Purple=Finalized.
Then on the second widget, Yellow=Finalized.
Currently the colors are automatically assigned to values on the chart. Which can cause inconsistency that can lead to usability issues.
To add, from all the chart components on the design system. Currently, only the Bar chart allows color assignment during development.
I think you can do this already. Try asking in MS Teams for the specific chart and i can post an example.
