IDS Enhancement Requests
Suggest we have a process where the product teams can contribute major component enhancements (that will be maintained by IDS and available to other product teams). This can reduce the time gap between product needs and delivery, and enables a more "federated" approach that may more efficiently utilize design & development resources within Infor.
First use case is for the WFM Scheduling UX update project. We have a need for persistent "status" or "state" display containers that are similar to Toast and Popover, that the user can act on. Please see attached image for examples of enhancements.
The desired timeline for these updates is approximately late 2023 and we currently have the bandwidth to tackle this challenge.

This is a great idea but needs further discussion among our key stakeholders on the IDS team, as this would be a pretty large process change. We will definitely keep this in mind as we move forward and improve operations on our end. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
