Option to use Datepicker "Apply" instead of auto-close

Currently, the calendar will close upon a click / tap selection on a date.
And on a date range picker, will close upon the selection on the end date.

Depending on the user types, tasks, and devices, the likelihood of mistaken selection varies.
Suggest to have the option to use the Apply button (not auto-close on selection) to give the user a chance to correct mistakes.
