Different disable status in Listview

WFM is trying to use Listview with multi-selection for time off requests: https://latest-enterprise.demo.design.infor.com/components/listview/example-multiselect.html

We want to disable the checkbox only instead of deactivating the entire card, including content (text, icon, etc.), because the action/ellipsis menu on the listview item still needs to be triggered when it is disabled for selection, which means that being 'selected' is not the only functionality for a list view item.

Can we have another non-selectable status by just hiding or disabling the checkbox?
